I would definitely recommend this shop. My husband and I have been taking our two cars here for maintenance and repairs for 4 years. The people at North Hollywood Auto are great mechanics who genuinely care about making sure your car is running properly. They explain repairs and options to you and work with you to determine what will be done. They are conveniently located near the NoHo metro station so you can drop off your vehicle and take the metro that day. But they will also give you a ride if needed. Oh, and they are friendly too! ------- I just went back to this place again. Here is my review for this visit: My side view mirror was broken and needed to be repaired. The people here took the time to look at it and see if there was a less expensive option than replacing the whole fixture with a Factory part. Sadly we had to go the expensive route but they showed me exactly why. The part arrived quickly and the mirror was replaced in a couple of hours, along with an oil change and an air filter replacement. The mirror looks like new. You would never know it was replaced. They were courteous and kept me informed. I have been going here four years and their service is consistently excellent. --------- We went back for more this week. Here's the review from the latest visit: Jack and Dan and crew took great care of my vehicle again this week. We discovered an issue with the car and they were able to fix it immediately. My car drives much more smoothly now and my car is safer. The people at North Hollywood auto always take the time to explain the problem, describe the options, and describe the pros and cons of the options. They clearly show us the breakdown of the costs. And they always do it with patience and humor. I highly recommend them! ---------- Went back again in May 2023 for standard maintenance. They took a look at brakes and tires while there and gave us a heads up about maintenance that will need to be done in next 6 to 12 mos. As always, they provided friendly and efficient service.
