Jack explains everything thoroughly up front. He'll tell what you need to do and won't recommend unnecessary repairs. The staff are always courteous and speedy. And they go above and beyond. Our car always comes back in better condition. We had new gas cap which was untethered to the car, so the little plastic string was always in the way. When the car came back repaired, Jack's crew had taken the time to remove the screws and attach the cap tether properly. This was not something we asked them to do and it was neither on the bill, nor mentioned to us by anyone. We didn't notice until we bought gas later that day. That kind of extra service at a place this honest? We never go anywhere else.

While on my Monday morning commute, my car suddenly had white smoke coming out from under the hood. I immediately pulled over and called AAA and then called North Hollywood Auto Repair to see if they could take my car. Jack answered the phone and said I could bring my car to him. When I arrived he took a look at the engine and determined that I had a coolant leak and that my radiator needed to be replaced. He had a lot of cars on the lot and I wasn't sure he would be able to get to my car quickly, so he called the rental car company (Horizon) down the street and had them come pick me up. Several hours later Jack called and said I not only needed to replace the radiator, but that my breaks pads needed to be replaced (it had been a long time since Jack last had to replace them), that I had a nail in my tire (he did a repair & rotated them) and that I was due for an oil change (I had planned on doing that over the weekend, so he saved me a trip to his shop!). I thought he'd need my car for two days, but the very next morning he called and my car was ready. After work I headed to his shop and when I arrived he called Horizon and confirmed that they would come pick up the rental - talk about amazing service! Jack is always quick to point out what needs to be repaired (for safety & car longevity) but he also highlights what repairs can wait until later. That kind of service is rare these days. Jack & his team at North Hollywood Auto Repair provide professional service, they're great to work with and I will continue to go back for my car repair needs.
