I have been doing business with Dan at North Hollywood Auto Repair for several years. He has always been honest and helpful when I bring my car in for repairs. If the repairs that I think need to be done, don't need to be done, Dan will tell me and make suggestions about when to bring it in next.

An absolute gem in a sea of uncertainty. Dan is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgable -- and happy to explain the details and options in a very layman-friendly manner. Communication throughout was excellent, and I was able to pick up my car several days before I expected. I have an odd car too, so tracking down the parts was in itself no small feat. Will happily travel here from mid-city in the future for all auto work, since a trustworthy mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommended.

Edit: just adding to the below -- went in for the followup appointment, arrived 2 hours late, Dan and John still managed to make sure I got out the same day. They are knowledgeable, honest, efficient, communicative, and overall the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever been to. I love this place. I have been using them for probably about 13 years.I trust them! My car is 16 years old and when something goes wrong they tell me if I should fix or its not worth fixing. I had a car before the Lexus and they told me when it was time to sell. I don't know what to say except I believe they are honest and would never take advantage of me like other mechanics have done to us the past.

Fabulous customer service and car maintenence I have been using this auto shop thru 2 different cars....over 30 years.
